German Parkinson’s group PD Avengers Deutschland launches Crazy Spark Art Challenge

Feeling creative? A German advocacy group wants people with Parkinson’s (PwPs) to produce their own artwork using The Spark, the new international logo for Parkinson’s which was introduced last year.

PD Avengers Deutschland launched the ‘Crazy Spark Art Challenge’ in January and would like PwPs to share their creations on social media.

“The aim was to make the Spark more known within the Parkinson’s community and to reach out to the rest of the world,” says Nina Juncker, one of the PD Avengers Deutschland members behind the project.

“An awareness campaign like this helps people have fun and educate themselves while also bringing them together with others,” says Nina. “It helps people become part of something bigger.”

Want to get involved? You can print a template of the logo on the PD Avengers Deutschland website or download a digital version.

Share your artistic interpretation of the Spark logo on social media using the hashtags #sparkartchallenge and #potzblitz2023.
