On 26 September 2022, Parkinson’s Europe launched a pan-European survey to understand if people with Parkinson’s get enough information and access to deep brain stimulation (DBS), as well as insights into their experience of receiving this kind of treatment.

The results of this survey will help us identify any gaps regarding the information and assistance that people with Parkinson's receive when considering deep brain stimulation as a treatment option, as well as possibilities for improvement in the treatment pathway – with the aim to ultimately campaign for improved access to deep brain stimulation and device-aided therapies.

The survey is open to people with Parkinson's and their family members from all over Europe and it takes only 10 minutes to complete.

Whether you have or have not had deep brain stimulation, please fill in this survey – your opinion and experience will be very important to us. Click on the links below to access the online questionnaire in different languages:

The survey is open until 31 December 2022.

Please help us promote this initiative by downloading the e-leaflet below and sharing it with your networks – we aim to collect as much information as possible!

Thank you very much for your time and support!
